Danbury falls to Hopewell-Loudon, 56-39

Danbury was able to hang with Hopewell-Loudon in the first half before the Chieftans pulled away in the second to defeat the Lakers, 56-39.

Danbury (5-18) trailed 14-12 after one quarter and 24-21 at halftime before H-L turned up the defensive pressure and forced a bevy of turnovers. The Chieftans began the third quarter on a 19-4 run to take a 43-25 lead.

Travis Milligan scored 19 points to lead all scorers and Jordyn Jury added 14 points to pace H-L (14-9). Ian Kuzma scored 16 points for the Lakers.
