The Danbury Parent Teacher Community Organization (PTCO) has teamed with the Marblehead Peninsula Chamber of Commerce to develop a unique Virtual Dinner and Reverse Raffle annual fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Most groups have simply cancelled their fundraising events because of the strict social restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The PTCO and the Marblehead Chamber have figured a way to make both a fancy dinner and an exciting reverse raffle possible.
This event will kick off with a drive-through dinner from 5-6:30 p.m. at Danbury School that will be catered by 1812 Food and Spirits in Port Clinton. The Virtual Reverse Raffle will have a live feed at 7 p.m. that is to have Tim Heffernan, Dan Humphrey and John Starcher as emcees.
Reverse raffle tickets are $125, with dinner-only tickets $25.
The reverse raffle grand prize is $10,000. There will also be 50/50 raffles, Side Boards and Wine/Dine Raffles.
The full dinner and desert will have an entree of either sliced sirloin or Chicken Francaise.
Tickets are available at the Marblehead Peninsula Chamber of Commerce in downtown Marblehead, or by contacting Teri Cassell (419-702-7492), Greg Deerhake (419-967-0621), Missy Skinner (419-341-3687) or Mark Harris (440-785-1499).
