If permanent residents of Danbury Township have interest in serving on the Danbury Township Zoning Commission (ZC) or Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA), submit an Appointed Position Application available under the employment section of the Township’s website as well as a resume to Kathryn A. Dale, the Danbury Township Zoning & Planning Administrator. Dale can be reached at 419-734-6120 for more information.

The Zoning Commission meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and is responsible for amendments to the zoning resolution and map. The Commission is comprised of five regular members and two alternates. An appointment is for five years, unless fulfilling a vacated seat.

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and is responsible for hearing requests on Appeals, Area Variances, Conditional Uses and Special Exceptions. The Board is comprised of five regular members and two alternates. An appointment is for five years, unless fulfilling a vacated seat.

To be considered for either position, a permanent residence of record must be Danbury Township. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. There is currently an Alternate Position available for each Board.
