Darlene J. Brightman Snyder, 71 of Port Clinton, died Saturday, May 6, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born April 15, 1952, in Sandusky, to the late Richard and Dorothy (Mesenburg) Brightman. She was a 1970 graduate of Margaretta High School. Darlene married Terry Snyder in 1980. Darlene started her career as a hair stylist, sold home interiors, and Walmart. She enjoyed her pets, gardening, camping and being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Terry of Port Clinton; daughter Melissa (Philip) Thatcher of St. Petersburg, FL; son Mark (Michelle) Snyder of Tiffin; grandchildren: Samantha, Kayla, Jorden, Xavier, Lily, Deklin, and Iris; great-grandchild Dayana; sister Diane Edwards, and ½ brother Dennis Wenzke. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Ronald and Donald Brightman.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Thursday at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Funeral Services were held Friday, May 12, at the Funeral Home.
