Diane Stachura, 80, of Catawba Island passed away Saturday, May 27, at her home. She was born Jan. 23, 1943, in Elizabeth, N.J., the daughter of Rudy and Anabel (Croce) Petrucci. She married Gene J. Stachura on June 20, 1964, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 2011. Mrs. Stachura enjoyed fishing. Boating on the lake, gardening and she loved animals. She also enjoyed going to the American Legion Post 83, Sandusky.

Surviving are her daughter: Dori Sijan of Catawba Island; grandson: Jayson Sijan of Port Clinton; granddaughter: Taylor Sijan of New Jersey; siblings: Linda Petrosky, Rudy (Shirley) Petrucci, Karen Lee all of New Jersey and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and sister: Donna Stucy.
