Colonel Donald Richard Ohlemacher, United States Air Force Officer and beloved husband and father, passed away August 1 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Don was born and raised in the Sandusky, area. Following his graduation from Port Clinton High School, Don attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. Don received his commission as an Air Force Officer in 1994 and served his country faithfully for 26 years.

A non-denominational memorial service with full military honors will be held at First Baptist of Kettering on Thursday, August 13. Visiting hours will be from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. The service will commence at 6:00pm.

The service will be live streamed for those that cannot attend. For those that wish to attend, the church has ample space to social distance. In addition, we ask that you wear a mask during visiting hours and the memorial service.
