Local resident and twelve-year member of the Catawba Island Club, Dr. Manny Tabora, won the 2025 Legacy Award during this year’s Stouffer Cup golf tournament at the Catawba Island Club held on Saturday, July 12.

At the age of 89, Tabora shot a gross score of 84 to win the annual award established in 2007 and awarded each year to the most senior golfer shooting the lowest GROSS score in the tournament.

Congratulations to Dr. Tabora for being one of only thirteen golfers who have won the annual award at least once, since its inception eighteen years ago.
