Oak Harbor has double the fun
Oak Harbor High School Student Council is hosting its 2nd annual Easter Egg-stravaganza! Join them for a free, fun-filled Easter event on Wednesday, April 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Oak Harbor High School. All little bunnies and peeps must be accompanied by an adult. Donations will be accepted.
The big Oak Harbor Easter Egg Hunt will be held April 13 at the Log Cabin at Adolphus Kraemer Park and Downtown Oak Harbor. The Easter eggs will roll at 2 p.m. at the Log Cabin, which will be followed by a candy hunt through downtown Oak Harbor, a chance to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny and perhaps win a Golden Egg Basket.
Port Clinton welcomes Easter Bunny on April 13
More than 4,000 candy-filled eggs will have kids running on April 13 at Lakeview Park on Perry Street, starting at 10 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be on hand, there will be fun prizes and Grand Baskets given away.
Eggs will roll at Marblehead’s James Park
The Marblehead Police Association is hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt at James Park on April 13 at 1 p.m. The small police staff comes up big every year, stuffing 4,000 plastic eggs and rounding up a wide range of prizes for the kids.
Hayes Easter Egg Roll on April 20 in Fremont
The annual Hayes Easter Egg Roll, which replicates the White House Easter Egg Roll that Rutherford B. Hayes started when he was president, is April 20 at 2 p.m. The eggs will roll on the lawn of the Hayes Home at the Rutherford B Hayes Presidential Library & Museums at Spiegel Grove.
Prizes are awarded in six age categories, and each child receives a balloon and treats. Admission is three hard-boiled colored eggs for use in the egg games. Children are also invited to participate in face painting, corn-hole games, craft activities and visits with the Easter Bunny.
Schedel Arboretum has weekday Easter Egg Hunt
The Schedel Arboretum & Gardens will have a weekday Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 18 at 5:30 p.m. The magnificent grounds are located at 19255 W. Portage River South Rd., Elmore.
Clyde’s Easter egg hunt set for April 20
The Clyde Easter Egg Hunt on April 20 begins at 2 p.m. in Clyde Community Park for kids 3 to 9 years old. Children will hunt for plastic eggs filled with candy and try to win baskets.
