CLYDE – Elara Caring, a leading national home health provider, is expanding its footprint in Ohio with the opening of a new Skilled Home Health branch in Clyde. The new location, which will offer services to patients in Sandusky, Seneca, Ottawa, Erie and Huron counties, reflects Elara’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional, personalized care wherever patients call home.

Located at the historic Eliza Ramsay Home at 430 South Main St., the Clyde branch offers a full range of home-based services, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social work, home health aide services and specialized behavioral health programs. The building carries a rich legacy of care, originally opened in 1926 as a privately operated nursing home for elderly women. Funded by a $50,000 trust from Burt Ramsay in honor of his mother, Eliza, the site now continues its purpose through modern, home-based care with Elara.
