GRAYTOWN – Elliston Zion United Methodist Church invites the public to the annual Souper Bowl of Caring luncheon and ping-pong tournament on Feb. 8. The event will feature a homemade soup, salad, and chili luncheon beginning at 11:30 a.m. The ping-pong tournament will begin at 12:30 p.m.

The event is a fundraiser for LIGHT Neighborhood Pantry at Elliston Zion and the LIGHT mobile food pantry. Guests are encouraged to make financial donations or donations of nonperishable food, laundry soap, and bathroom tissue.

All are welcome, and the church is looking for ping-pong players to join the tournament.

“Proceeds are used to share the light of Christ with our neighbors, one meal at a time,” said Elliston Zion Pastor LisaAnne Gregg.
