When a group of professional and amateur musicians performed new flute music by Cleveland composers at the Chicago Flute Festival in 2009, Erie Waters was born! Their unique sound comes from bringing together bass, alto, C flutes, piccolo, and Native American flutes. Erie Waters programs a variety of musical genres and styles.

The Erie Waters Flute Ensemble plays full programs of exciting works for Flute Choir as well as church services and functions. This Sunday, April 14 they will perform at 3:30 p.m. in the Musical Arts Series at the Firelands Presbyterian Church, 2626 E. Harbor Rd., Port Clinton, sponsored by Dr. Jay Mann and Miller Ferry.

Admission is $15 at the door, with no reserved seating. Students and children are free. For ticket packages, call 419-734-6211.

The goal of the Musical Arts Series/Port Clinton is to provide the experience of the musical arts at their highest level for this community. Whether jazz, folk, classical vocal, choral, piano, or chamber music, the Musical Arts Series wants the audience to enjoy these concerts.
