To make sure Ottawa County school children in need have holiday meals. The The Family Advocacy Center distributes bags of food to the schools to be distributed.

Staff and volunteers at the The Family Advocacy Center worked on Tuesday, Dec. 12 to package 500 bags of food to be distributed to assure holiday meals at Ottawa County School Districts. This food is provided to children that are at risk of food insecurity while on breaks from school.

The Family Advocacy Center routinely provides meal bags to all of the schools in Ottawa County to be used to assist with those families that experience food shortages.  For more information or to help with the project, contact the The Family Advocacy Center and Director Connie Roe at 419-301-0225
