Terry “Rhino” Garin will headline the Feb. 7 professional wrestling event in a no-rules match.

Insane Wrestling Revolution is bringing professional wrestling – and big time fun – to Ottawa County this winter. About 20 professional wrestlers will take the ring at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, Feb. 7. The main event will feature Terry “Rhino” Garin facing Franchise Shane Douglas.

The VIP event, which includes a women’s match, begins at 6:30 p.m., and the general admission event begins at 7:30 p.m. The last match ends promptly at 9 p.m.

“It’s a family-friendly show. You can expect a great local wrestling event with guys who have been on TV with Impact Wrestling,” Rhino said. “It’s fun, and we have a strict 9 o’clock curfew, so kids can get home and get to bed.”

Among the talent featured at the event will be Trey Miguel, Top Notch Jason Hotch, Buckeye Sam and The Michigan Wolverine Warrior. Rhino and Douglas will spar in a no-rules match.

“There could be tables. There could be chairs. There could be cookie sheets. There may even be a kitchen sink,” Rhino said.

Professional wrestling is making its way to Ottawa County thanks to the efforts of Billy and Kelly Rigoni of Port Clinton. Rhino, who is from Detroit, has been vacationing in Port Clinton since he was a child. Billy and Rhino met during one of Rhino’s visits a few years ago, and they partnered to bring a wrestling event to the county this winter.

“We’re helping promote something awesome for Port Clinton,” Kelly said. “We’re looking for sponsors. The more presale tickets and sponsorships we have, the more entertainment we can bring in.”

Tickets cost $25 for the front row, $20 for the second row, $15 for the third row, and $10 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased at For information on becoming a sponsor, email or call 419-573-9930.

Rhino said the crowd can expect nonstop action and well-known wrestlers.

“There’s a cool buzz of people getting excited about this,” Billy said. “People say there’s nothing to do here in winter. We’re giving them something to do.”
