Destination Toledo has announced that Toledo has been ranked as the “most affordable city for family vacations” in a recent article by Forbes Advisor. Forbes Advisor analyzed the 100 largest U.S. cities. Various factors were considered to determine the affordability of a city, including average airfare, hotel rates and daily expenses such as food and entertainment.
Toledo stood out among other cities for not only its affordability but also its excellent attractions.
“This recognition is a testament to the value and accessibility Toledo offers to visitors looking to create memorable experiences for their families without breaking the bank,” said Lance Woodworth, President and CEO of Destination Toledo. “Toledo offers a diverse range of attractions, including world-class museums, parks and family-friendly activities that are both affordable and exciting.”
Oklahoma City, Okla.; Orlando, Fla.; Buffalo, N.Y. and Wichita, Kan. Rounded out the top five. Four Midwestern cities rank among the top 10.
