The Port Clinton High School Drama Club is presenting its student production of Freaky Friday on Friday through Sunday (March 22-24) at the PCHS Performing Arts Center. Show times are 7:30 p.m. with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
Freaky Friday is all about an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swapping bodies, and they have just one day to put things right again. The new musical is based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films. It is a heartfelt, comedic and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic.
By spending a day in each other’s shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.
Tickets are $8 each and on sale now in the PCHS Main Office. Tickets will also be available in the box office prior to each show. See more news and information at www.pccsd.net and facebook.com/portclintonschools.
