Fremont’s downtown will be a busy place this weekend, with Downtown Fremont Inc. hosting The Bellevue Hospital Crop Circle Art & Music Festival on Friday, Oct. 4 from 6-9 p.m. The Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market and The Bellevue Hospital Crop Circle events will be on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Special Event sponsor is Elroy’s Deli Market and Style Crest is the sponsor of the Kids Activities. Both events will be on Front Street. The festival, market and events are free, and a chance to watch or participate in fun, creative and curious activities.
Friday evening events on Front Street, between Croghan and Garrisons Streets, consist of: Chalk Art with Caroline Jardine; Open Mic Night at Elroy’s Deli & Market; Artist Gallery at the 219 Brady Building; Art Walk & Fun Photo Op’s; Starry Trails: Interactive Telescope; Glow in the Dark Shirt Craft; Alien and Outer Space Kids Crafts; Glass Blowing by Paul Otermat; Nick the Magician; Jelly Fish Puppets by TSA; Glass City Steel Drummers and a Glow Bike Ride at 9 p.m.
During the Farmers Market on Saturday, the Crop Circle events will be the Art Walk & Fun Photo Op’s; Starry Trails: Planetarium at Live Edge Center; Artist Gallery at the 219 Brady Building; Chalk Art with Caroline Jardine; Kazenodaichi Taiko Drummers; Flat Top Republic; Alien & Outer Space Kids Craft Activities; Community Painting: Mini-Murals; Yarn Bombing by Michelle Atkinson; Bubble Sharks having a Super Bubbling; Sandusky County Share & Care: Art Tile Activity; Caricatures with Isaac Klunk; and Glass Blowing by Eamon King.
Front Street will be closed at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 until 10 p.m. between Croghan and Garrison Streets on Saturday, Oct. 5 from Croghan Street to Birchard Avenue.
