Fremont’s Farmers Market features ethnic foods, cultural events

Downtown Fremont Inc. will be hosting the Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market and Fremont City School’s All Together Fremont Event on Front Street on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During the free event, there will be Ethnic Foods and Cultural Awareness events throughout the market. Many cultural musical groups will be performing around the market: St. Joseph Central Catholic Band, Fremont Ross High School Drumline ,Scott Sopata (Bagpipes and more), West African Rhythm with Sogbery, Paul Gregory Whitt (Flamenco Guitarist), Gary Johns and the Rusty Rhythm Section, the Music of Aaron Rodriguez and Danza Guadalupana of Norwalk and the Willard Dancers.

There is also a School Supply Giveaway for students. The Farmers Market events are a partnership with many organizations and businesses within Fremont. Downtown Fremont Inc. also has many more free events planned in the upcoming months, so follow them on social media.
