FREMONT – FriendShip Kitchen is supporting one of Ohio’s premier racetracks this year, helping to bring fast-paced fun to Northwest Ohio. FriendShip Kitchen is the title sponsor of Fremont Speedway, and on May 12, FriendShip Kitchen staff were at the racetrack for a ribbon cutting to help Fremont Speedway celebrate its 75th anniversary.

The Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County hosted a ribbon cutting to honor the racetrack’s 75-year history, and the day’s events included a $75,000 purse – the biggest purse in Fremont Speedway history.

“As we go through the 2026 season, we are going to have many events that bring the history and the future together,” said Fremont Speedway Promoter, Rich Farmer. “Those events will include the 44th Annual Ohio Sprint Speed Week event in June and also our annual Hall of Fame induction ceremonies in June. We have an exciting celebration scheduled for the Fourth of July, along with our Jim Ford Classic, which was named national event of the year for 2025.”
