Giving is important to the staff of The Resort at Erie Landing

This year our team gathered together and determined we all had so much to be thankful for and yet so many others in our community are struggling to try to figure out how to enjoy the holiday. So, we took it upon ourselves to create a family package for 15 Ottawa County families. We baked, shopped, and enlisted our owners to bring this together with a 12 pound spiral sliced West Virginia Ham. Our package included Whole Wheat Bread, Morning Glory muffins, cranberry nut bread from Ginger, our REL cookies by Eric, a Christmas Stocking by Eric and Courtney, apples from Moore’s Orchard, organic carrots and sweet potatoes from Shared Legacy Farms, fruit and potatoes from Bassett’s Market, sparkling grape juice, a holiday candle, lotto scratch-offs, REL mugs, T-Shirt, gaiter, and playing cards, a Holiday ornament, green bean casserole from Trish, corn pudding from the Frohne family, Macaroni and Cheese from Betty and Bob, dressing mix from Cory, candy, mixed nuts, and Marisa’s famous holiday cake rolls with help from Marty. We wanted to bring holiday comfort, and hopefully allow families to kick back and enjoy their day. We worked with a local charity who selected the families and we hope to bring this gesture of giving to 30 Ottawa County families in 2021.

All the best from the REL TEAM,
Mike and Ginger Schenk
