GLCAP begins 28th People Helping People Campaign

Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) will begun its 28th annual People Helping People Campaign in July, raising funds for GLCAP’s People Helping People Fund, which assists low-income individuals and families in GLCAP’s core service region of Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wood counties with needs that go above and beyond those that are covered through GLCAP’s grant-funded programs.

“Life gives all of us unexpected challenges, and these challenges tend to hit harder for many of the people we serve,” GLCAP Public Relations Director Alex Boroff said. “The fund allows us the opportunity to help people overcome those unexpected challenges.”

Online shoppers may also help GLCAP through AmazonSmile. Shoppers can visit smile.amazon.com, log in, and choose Great Lakes Community Action Partnership as their designated organization to have a portion of their Amazon purchase go to the GLCAP People Helping People Fund.

Those who are interested in donating to the fund may do so at www.glcap.org/peoplehelpingpeople. For more information on GLCAP programs, visit www.glcap.org or call 1-800-775-9767.
