Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) has launched its 26th annual People Helping People Campaign, raising funds to assist low-income individuals and families in Ottawa, Wood, Sandusky and Seneca counties. The donor-supported fund helps people with needs that go above and beyond those that are met through GLCAP’s grant-funded programs.
“While we help many people each year through utility assistance, Head Start, home repair and other programs, we do see program participants who may need additional support apart from what these programs can provide,” GLCAP Public Relations Director Alex Boroff said. “With the People Helping People Fund, we can help people with some of these additional needs, such as vehicle repairs, medical bills, and other expenses.”
People donating to the fund may do so online at www.glcap.org/peoplehelpingpeople. For more information on GLCAP programs, visit www.glcap.org or call 1-800-775-9767.
