A $4 million transformation of the Sportsmen’s Migratory Bird Center into the Magee Marsh Visitor’s Center at the popular Magee Marsh Wildlife Area made it’s debut last Thursday on Governors Bird Ohio Day. The 5,700-square foot two-story facility managed to dazzle both the crowds of waterfowl hunters and bird watchers. While warblers were a delight for the birders on site for the Biggest Week in American Birding, which runs through May 14, the waterfowl mounts, duck carving displays and extensive history of Ohio marsh hunting was a refreshing display for waterfowl hunters.
