The Magruder Hospital Foundation created an evening of fine food and wines at the Gideon Owen Wine Company in Port Clinton a night to remember, with hospital patrons and friends dining, drinking and dancing the evening away last Thursday.

Event sponsors Hal and Diane Hawk and Mark and Tina Hablitzel were joined by Magruder Hospital’s President & CEO Nick Marsico in welcoming the crowd for the sold out benefit, and the gracious Gideon Owen Wine Company staff made sure the dinner stations and wine selections were ready for Magruder Hospital Foundation members and their friends and neighbors to ensure an enjoyable event.

To keep everyone entertained and dancing was noted entertainer Trez Gregory.

“It was a wonderful evening, and we’re so grateful for all of the support we enjoyed from the community,” said Director of Community Outreach Rachel Fall. “The proceeds from the event will assist the Magruder Foundation in supporting Magruder Hospital and its mission of Improving Lives Together.”

The delicious food pairings were created by the Gideon Owen culinary team, matching the offerings with beverages from Gideon Owen Wine Company — especially a formidable Pinot Grigio — and the Orchard, Twin Oast Brewing, The Gristmill and Everwild Spirits.
