Sunday School kids donated $80 from their Penny Jar Offerings to help TNT Mentoring at the Ottawa County Advocacy Center. From left to right are Jacob and Myley Sandwisch, Lexi Martikan, Nora, Millie, and Dalton Duprae, TNT Mentoring’s Connie Cornett, and Sunday School teacher Addie Brandt.

The Sunday School children of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Graytown welcomed Connie Cornett, TNT Mentoring Program Director, and presented her with a check from the $80 in coins the youngsters had received during the past year in their Penny Jar Offerings.

The TNT Mentoring Program is part of the Ottawa County Advocacy Center, which also includes CASA, Ticket to Success, Grand Love, and the Summer Lunch Program. The children donated the Penny Jar Offerings to benefit students within the BCS School District. Cornett told the children that these programs are always looking for more volunteers, and male mentors were needed most.
