Michael Wilson Hardy, known simply as Hardy to his country music fans, will hold down the spotlight on the second of two days of the 2024 edition of the Bash on the Bay at the Put-in-Bay Airport on South Bass Island. Hardy is featured on Thursday, Aug. 22, with supporting acts for both days and the opening act on Wednesday, Aug. 21 yet to be named.

Hardy is the most nominated artist at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM), winning Artist-Songwriter of the Year and Visual Media of the Year, as well as Music Event of the Year for his duet “Wait in the Truck” with songstress Lainey Wilson.

Hardy hit singles include “Rednecker,” “Give Heaven Some Hell,” and his latest, “Truck Bed.” Hardy has also written No. 1 songs for other country artists, including Florida Georgia Line and Morgan Wallen.

Bash on the Bay 7 will again be a two-day outdoor music festival at the Put-in-Bay Airport on South Bass Island. Wednesday night’s headliner, as well as supporting acts for both days, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Those currently holding tickets for the Luke Bryan Show cancelled by severe storms in August can apply those tickets towards Hardy tickets, or request a refund at eTix.com. Tickets from the cancelled Luke Bryan show can also be applied toward night one of the 2024 festival.
