Harold E. Fourman, 80, of Port Clinton, passed away peacefully at his home and entered into the joy of the Lord, Saturday, Nov. 6, surrounded by his family singing him into glory. He was born July 28, 1941, in Arcanum, the son of Leonard and Eunice (Phipps) Fourman. On Oct. 9, 1960, he married his sweetheart, Kayetta F. Welbaum, for whom he faithfully loved and cared. Harold retired from Champaign Landmark as the General Manager. He also was the Internal Auditor for God’s Bible School in Cincinnati for 20 years and helped many churches across the country audit their books, as well. He was proud to be a member of Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church, Port Clinton.
Harold’s love for the Lord was the driving force behind everything he was and did. His eyes were fixed on Jesus and his aim was for him and his family to make it to heaven. His family was his pride and joy; he couldn’t have been prouder of them. Hard-working, generous, loyal are three words that truly exemplify his life. Ranging from golf to Garfield to Gleem toothpaste, his interests were not only diverse but also quite intense. Particular, determined, straightforward are three additional adjectives that describe Harold and helped him to be a successful and diligent businessman.
Surviving are his wife Kayetta; daughters Teresa (Rev. Mark) Cravens of Cincinnati, Krista (Kent) Jeffries of Oak Harbor; son Rev. Deron (Kimberly) Fourman of Port Clinton; 10 grandchildren: Jessica Cravens, Jacinda (Nick) Jaymes, Bethany (David) Frederick, Brittany (Joshua) Glick, Alex (Dana) Fourman, Courtney (Travis) Stroup, Kaitlyn (Caleb Case) Fourman, Brayden (Mel) Jeffries, Andrew Jeffries, Hannah Jeffries; 4 great-grandchildren: Channing and Connor Frederick, Amia and baby Jaymes; sister Alice Martin of West Milton; brother Bruce Fourman of Urbana.
