Hazel E. Wiedenhoft, 88, of Marblehead, passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, at Edgewood Manor Healthcare Center in Port Clinton. She was born Dec. 7, 1930 in Empire, Mich., the daughter of the late Franklin and Myrtle (Price) Noonan. On Sept. 10, 1948 she married Charles Wiedenhoft and he survives.
Hazel was a homemaker and enjoyed swimming, walking, was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling to Traverse City, Mich. with her husband, Chuck. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 70 years, Chuck; daughter, Lorie (Steven) Feyedelem, Marblehead; son, Dale (Suzie) Wiedenhoft, Marblehead; grandchildren, Wendy (James) Murphy, Charles (Jennifer) Wiedenhoft, Allison (Brian) Holzaepfel, Ashley Feyedelem, Steven A. Feyedelem, Nathan (Leah) Wiedenhoft, Nick (Jane) Wiedenhoft; great-grandchildren, John and Emma Holzaepfel, Adrianna and Felicity Wiedenhoft, daughter in law, Paula; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Charles T. Wiedenhoft; her brother, Ray Noonan; and her sisters, Lawana Noonan and Muriel Howard.
Per Hazel’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marblehead Peninsula Branch Library, 710 W. Main St., Marblehead, Ohio 43440.
