The Port Clinton Redskins lost their last regular season game at home on Friday, Oct. 25 to the Sandusky Blue Streaks, 28-19. This was a non-conference game as Port Clinton wrapped up its season with a record of 6-4 overall and 1-3 in conference games. Port Clinton jumped out to an early lead of 13-0 midway through the first quarter with Briar Rohrer scoring on a 14-yard Wyatt Yarbrough pass. Gabe Koskela made the point after. Malakii Pinkelton scored for Port Clinton on a six-yard touchdown run. Pinkelton finished the game with 15 carries for 78 rushing yards. Yarbrough completed 8 of 23 passes in the game for 155 yards and three touchdowns.

The Blue Streaks would get on the scoreboard just before the end of the first quarter with Jason Henlon connecting with Aa’ Zoriyon Bonner with a 23-yard touchdown pass. The Blue Streaks held a one-point lead at halftime, 14-13, and outscored Port Clinton 14-6 in the third quarter. Both teams were scoreless in the fourth quarter.

The Oak Harbor Rockets remain unbeaten. On Friday, Oct. 26, they were on the road in a Northern Buckeye Conference game against the Lake Flyers, winning 49-20. For Oak Harbor, Carson Ridener, Micah Miller, Blake Nickel and Mike La Londe each rushed for a touchdown. La Londe completed six of seven passes for 124 yards. Oak Harbor allowed 52 yards on 15 carries and 82 yards passing. The Oak Harbor Rockets are unofficially the third seed in Division V’s Region 18. Oak Harbor (10- 0 overall and 7-0 conference) will take on the Fredericktown Freddies (5-5 overall, 4-3 conference) on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m.

The Danbury Lakers were defeated by the Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks 34-14 on Friday, Oct. 26 in a home conference game. The Lakers were trailing 21-8 at the end of the second quarter. Danbury is now 4-5 overall and 3-4 in conference games and sixth in the Northern 8 (8 Man). Danbury will be on the road on Saturday, November 2 to take on the Chalker Wildcats (Southington) who are 3-3 overall and 3-2 in conference games. This is a conference game with an early 3 p.m. kickoff time.
