MIDDLE BASS ISLAND — The Ohio State Parks Foundation will celebrate the “Magic of Middle Bass,” a special fundraising event on Saturday, Aug. 19 from

5-7 p.m. It will be an evening of “Mystery & History for the Lonz Mansion Renovation.”

The festive program, to be held at the historic and scenic Lonz Winery grounds at Middle Bass Island State Park, will take a look at the past, present and future of the island, including insights on early Ohio wine pioneer George Lonz and the vision for the Lonz Mansion renovation. The celebration includes an insightful guided conversation with local experts, wines of the region, hors d’oeuvres and live music.
