Father Andrew Bartek, the Rector at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, 110 E. Main St., Marblehead, wants to make sure all of the folks in the Marblehead area will celebrate Christmas Day with a delicious free hot meal.

“We can’t welcome them into Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, as much as we’d like to be able to provide much-needed company on the special day, because of social distancing mandates due to COVID-19, but we can make sure everyone can enjoy a special ham dinner with all of the fixings, including desert.”

Everyone must pre-order a meal by Sunday, Dec. 20 at 419-798-4591. The meals will be available for pick-up on Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25, from 1-3 p.m. For those lacking mobility, local deliveries will be made after 3 p.m.
