Christmas Day is a time to celebrate, and to gather together with family and friends for a holiday meal. Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, 110 E. Main St., Marblehead is welcoming anyone and everyone to enjoy a free Christmas Dinner on Saturday, Dec. 25, from 1-4 p.m.
The parish is offering both dine-in or carry out meals, but asks those who want to attend to reserve their meals by calling the Holy Assumption Rectory at 419-798-4591. Reservations need to be made by 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19.
The Christmas Dinner will feature ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, roll and butter and a salad. Beverages include wine, coffee, tea, water, soda and some mixed drinks.
Community members sponsoring Christmas Dinner include: Big Boppers Restaurant, Camp Runinmuck Restaurant, Marblehead Galley Restaurant, Latitude Cafe, Wee Willie’s Sports Bar, Howard Hanna and Respect Life Ministry.
