The Erie Shore Cruisers Car Club understands you can’t make it out to a car show right now. To ensure this summertime tradition continues, though, they are bringing the car show to all of Port Clinton!

Escorted by the Port Clinton Police Department, Port Clinton Fire & Rescue Department, Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Highway Patrol, the “Honk-About” Car Show route will start at Port Clinton City Hall, 1868 E. Perry, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 3.

Vehicles will travel south on Buckeye; west on State; north on Maple; west on 3rd; south on McKinley; jog on Fremont and south on Kaspar; north on Grant; east on Alice; north on Harrison; east on 6th; south on Madison; east on 11th; north on Fulton; west on 4th; north on Harrison; east on 2nd; north on Maple; east on Perry, then back to City Hall.

Not a member of Erie Shore Cruisers? No problem!

Free registration is open to everyone with a car, truck or cycle they’d like to show off. Be in line at Port Clinton City Hall by 1:30 p.m. For additional information, contact Kenny Holcomb at 419-573-2171.

Spectators are encouraged to watch from the front window, porch or stoop of their homes. Make every effort to keep the proper social distance from one another, and refrain from running into the street as the “Honk-About” passes.
