The Howard Hanna offices in Catawba, Fremont, Norwalk and Oak Harbor are having a Golf Scramble Outing at the Catawba Island Club on Aug. 5 to benefit their charity “Children’s Free Care Fund,” which was started in 1988. The funds from this event are distributed to the following hospitals to help families that have children with serious health issues, including University Hospital Rainbow Babies (Cleveland), Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, Metro Health ( Cleveland), Akron Children’s Hospital, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital (Ann Arbor) and Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus).

Last year the special golf outing raised $18,664 for the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund. Over the last 10 years the four offices have raised over $146,000. Those who would like to play, or would like more information, can call Howard Hanna at 419-734-5751 or email:
