Huron High School celebrates college commitments

On Wednesday, April 17, Huron High School athletic director Steve Camella led the ceremonies as seven Huron seniors celebrated their college athletic commitments. The combined signing ceremony took place in front of their families, teammates and coaches. Beau Harkelroad will compete in hurdles in the track and field events at Kent State University, an NCAA Division I program. Jadyn Towns will continue distance running at Akron, also an NCAA Division I program.

Tess Humphrey will be playing volleyball for John Carrol University, and Karlee Kurtz will be in the swim program at Ohio Northern, both in the Division III Ohio Athletic Conference. Andrew Delaney and Donni Hartley are going to continue in football at the University of Windsor in the Canadian province of Ontario. The University plays a similar level to NCAA D-II. Austin Wasily will be going to Hilbert College, where he will continue to play baseball for the Hawks which is a D-III program in Hamburg, New York.
