Huron Tigers on the prowl

The Huron Tigers Boys Varsity Basketball team is currently 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the Sandusky Bay-Bay Conference. On Dec. 23, the Tigers took on the Edison Chargers in a non-conference game. The Tigers were victorious 56-42. On Dec. 19, the Tigers were in another nonconference matchup, this time against the Bellevue Redmen. It was a close game as Bellevue came out on top 44-40. This was Bellevue’s fifth straight game of holding the opposing team to under 50 points,

The Huron Tigers Boys Varsity Basketball team will play their first game of 2024 on Thursday, Jan. 4 in a home conference game against the Vermilion Sailors.

The Huron Tigers Girls Varsity Basketball team is 2-6 overall, and in the Sandusky Bay – Bay Conference, they are 0-3. Recapping their recent games, the Tigers played an away game and they fell to the Margaretta Polar Bears 51-13 on Dec. 22. The Tigers came up short on the road again on Dec. 19 against the Seneca East Tigers by a score of 43-35.

The Tigers will be going against the Vermilion Sailors on Jan. 5 in a conference matchup.
