Immaculate Conception School has been bustling with activity as it prepares for its 34th annual gala auction, the school’s major fundraiser with a theme this year of “Escape to Margaritaville.” The auction will be in the spotlight on Saturday, March 21, a tropical night of sunshine and sand at the school.
The 34th annual auction is a time to celebrate the future of Catholic education in Port Clinton,” said officials of the Friends of Immaculate Conception School. Some of the items up for auction are a private VIP tour and dinner experience at Twin Oast Brewery; a 1-hour violin concert; an overnight stay at the Vineyard Woods in Geneva on the Lake for two people with wine tasting.
Also on the auction block is free lunch for a year at local favorite Coffee Express; a Learn to Fly 1-hour airplane flight lesson from Fremont Flight Academy; and private yoga class for 10 friends. Donations of any kind can be dropped off at the school.
The night promises to be a tropical evening of fun and friendship. Included with the $35 ticket will be a Caribbean catered dinner and desserts, margarita machine, beer, wine and soft drinks. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
To make a reservation for this year’s auction call the school office at 419-734-3315 through March 16. For tickets you can also send a check payable to FICS to: ICS Office, 109 West 4th St., Port Clinton, or pay online at portclintonics.weshareonline.org. No tickets are issued. In addition to the dynamic silent auction, there will be a live auction, 50/50 raffles, grab bags, and many other fun events throughout the evening. All proceeds go directly to Immaculate Conception School and to the continuation of providing a quality education at ICS.
