As Halloween approaches, Ida Rupp Public Library has several programs to celebrate the season. Our last day of the Harry Potter Escape Room is on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Immerse yourself and friends in a story and a puzzle combined into one fun event.

Outside the Marblehead branch library, Erin will be handing out books as part of the Main Street Trick or Treat. Afterwards, join her on the steps of the Marblehead Soap Company where she will share the spooky tales of ghosts encounters.

The Erie Islands Library is holding its HalloReads event at the StoryWalk at Dodge Woods Nature Park on Oct. 28. For teens, come get wild and crazy makeup done before Trick or Treat time on Oct. 31.
