Ida Rupp Libraries spotlights Easter Egg Hunt, free tech help

The April calendar for all locations of the Ida Rupp Public Library includes an indoor Easter Egg Hunt today. One-on-One Tech Help has become popular and will also return this month, and so will many popular Book Clubs.

Here are the April listings:

Thursday April 7

One-On-One Tech Help, Ida Rupp Public Library; 10–11 a.m. and 2 – 3 p.m.; Adults. Call 419-732-3212 to sign up for a 30-minute one-on-one Tech Help session.

DIY Boba Keychain, Ida Rupp Public Library; 3–4 p.m.; Teens. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to come to the library to make a Boba tea (Bubble tea) keychain.

Easter Egg Hunt, Ida Rupp Public Library; 6–7 p.m.; Children. Come join us for an Easter egg hunt here at the library! Children ages 12 and under are welcome with a parent or guardian.

Mystery Book Discussion, Ida Rupp Public Library; 7–8 p.m.; Adults. April’s Mystery Book is The Other Passenger by Louise Candlish. Copies available March 4.

Garden Totem Pole/Dessert Platter, Erie Islands Library; 5–6 p.m.; Adults. Looking for a unique garden decoration? Join us to make a beautiful item of your choice out of glassware. We will have a limited selection. We will have glue to hold your project together. Limit: 10 people.

Friday April 8

One-On-One Tech Help, Ida Rupp Public Library; 10–11 a.m. and 2 – 3 p.m.; Adults. Call 419-732-3212 to sign up for a 30-minute one-on-one Tech Help session.

Monday April 11

Vineyard Book Discussion, Ida Rupp Public Library; 1–2 p.m.; Adults. Community Room of The Vineyard On Catawba. April’s book is The Institute by Stephen King.

Bedtime Story Time, Ida Rupp Public Library; 5:30–6 p.m.; Children. Join us for a calming, sleepy story time. Come in your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal to cuddle.

Story Time for Toddlers and Preschoolers, Erie Islands Library; 10–10:30 a.m.; Children. Join Librarian Karen Wilhelm for a half hour of reading, song and a craft to take home. Parents, caregivers asked to stay with their children.

Tuesday April 12

Tales for Tots with Miss Kristen, Ida Rupp Public Library; 10:30–11:30 a.m.; Children. Join Miss Kristen for stories, songs and playtime.

Botanical Eggs, Ida Rupp Public Library; 3–4 p.m.; Adults. Join us at the library to create one-of-a-kind botanical eggs. Supplies provided.

Euchre Club, Ida Rupp Public Library; 6–7:45 p.m.; Adults. Join us for fun evening of Euchre.

Wednesday April 13

Sips and Series, Marblehead Peninsula Branch Library; 6:30–8 p.m.; Adults. Come join us for a discussion of all things watch worthy! We Meet at Rocky Point Winery.

Wine Bottle Nightlights, Erie Islands Library; 1–2 p.m.; Adults. Make a nightlight from a wine bottle. We ask that you bring your own empty wine bottle. We have decorating ideas and supplies as well as the mini-lights on a cork to insert when done.
