The Ida Rupp Public Library, has been able to serve residents despite the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the interest of the safety of our community, Ida Rupp officials have decided to pause its in-person programs at the library for the month of February.
They will reassess the impact Covid-19 is having in the next few weeks to make a decision of whether or not in-person programs will be held in March.
“Patrons can still come into any of our three libraries to select or return materials and utilize on-site resources such as public computers, faxing, and copying,” said IRPL Director Lindsay Faust. “In addition, any patrons who wish may use the hold lockers at each location to minimize contact with other individuals”
“For our patrons who enjoy having access to both our digital and physical materials. We will continue to find new and innovative ways to serve our diverse communities” Faust said.
The Ida Rupp libraries are located in Port Clinton at 310 Madison St.; Marblehead Peninsula Branch at 710 W. Main St.; and Erie Islands Library located at 281 Concord in Put-in-Bay.
