Immaculate Conception School will open Catholic Schools Week with an ICS Open House on Sunday, Jan. 26, including tours of the busy classrooms.

Catholic Schools Week is fast approaching and Immaculate Conception School has a lot to celebrate. The school is in its 94th year of giving wisdom to little ones by offering an education of the mind, body and spirit. The exciting week starts with an Open House on Sunday, Jan. 26, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Everyone is invited to take a look at the extra advantage Immaculate Conception offers the families and students of our community. ICS is located at 109 W. 4th Street, Port Clinton. Feel free to call the school at 419-734-3315 for information or to register for the 2020-2021 school year.

A celebratory Mass by Father John Missler will kick off the day at 10:30 a.m. The Open House will follow, and all are welcome to come and see the amazing things happening at Immaculate Conception School. Tours of the classrooms will be offered.

Immaculate Conception School is open to children from 3 and 4-year-olds in preschool through the 5th grade. The school is open to children of all faiths and tuition scholarships are available. ICS is proud to offer small class sizes, a faith and value based education, and an outstanding staff committed to leaving no child behind.

Kindness and respect is taught and expected. All children are encouraged to learn where they are ready. This means that all children are given the personalized attention to reach their highest potential. Technology is an imperative part of the learning at ICS, which has made the investment to give each student their own Chrome Book laptop computer. Spanish is taught to every student and small class sizes with lots of hands on learning are imperative to the IC education.
