A very dedicated team has been busy for months at Immaculate Conception Parish preparing a wonderful week for children of the community from June 10-14 for a presentation with the theme “Shipwrecked—Rescued by Jesus.”It is open to all children age 4 (by May 31) to age 10 (finishing grade 4).
At Shipwrecked VBS, the children look into the Bible, God’s holy Word, and learn that when you are lonely, Jesus rescues; when you worry, Jesus rescues; when you struggle, Jesus rescues; when you do wrong, Jesus rescues; and when you are powerless, Jesus rescues!
The kids who participate in “Shipwrecked” will act out Bible stories, make keepsake crafts, sing fun songs, learn about the saints, play exciting outdoor games and eat tasty treats. The program will run every day from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall. Registration forms can be obtained online at icchurchpc@frontier.com, by stopping in the Parish Office at 414 Madison St., Port Clinton or at Immaculate Conception School. When registration forms are completed, drop off a white tee shirt with your child’s name written inside the back. Also remember to take a CD home. There is no cost, but donations are gladly accepted.
