A brand new preschool has opened at Immaculate Conception School, and it’s amazing. Opening its doors to three- and four-year-old boys and girls, Immaculate Conception Preschool kicked off the new school season recently with an exciting week for staff, parents and students. The former preschool had been completely gutted and made a new again, installing new exterior windows and doors, interior lighting and flooring that has made for a bright and wonderful environment for the school’s youngest students.
A new Immaculate Conception Preschool facility has air conditioning, security cameras and the latest in learning technology, making for a wonderful school year with teacher Mary Heschel at the helm, with Laura Stitchcomb and Barbara Rhodes as assistants. Many volunteers and contractors made the new Immaculate Conception Preschool a reality, especially Larry Hattan, who put in hundreds of hours on the project.
Immaculate Conception Preschool has a four-year-old class that meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and a three-year-old class that meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:15 to 11:15 a.m. Before school and after school care and tuition assistance is available for all families.
