The popular Immaculate Conception School’s Live Auction will return on Saturday, April 22, and the unique fundraiser, the Port Clinton school’s largest of the year, will celebrate an exciting theme, “A British Invasion,” auctioning a 10-day trip to England and Ireland.
Preparations for the 35th annual ICS auction are fully underway, with the school a bustle of activity as the final touches are put into place for not only the largest fundraiser of the year, but the first live auction at the school since 2019.
Art classes are working on decorations, projects are being created and themed gift baskets of every sort are being assembled for the annual auction.
Immaculate Conception School has had an amazing year. A sixth grade classroom was added, Spanish class is back as an important part of an ICS education, and a new 3D club meets in the school’s science lab each week.
Tickets for the “British Invasion” drawing must be purchased the evening of the auction. Also among items up for auction are a kayak, Bowling Green Falcons men’s basketball tickets, Cincinnati Reds baseball tickets, charter fishing trips, Yeti cooler, Maui Jim sunglasses, tickets to Put-in-Bay, a bourbon basket, lottery ticket tree, drum set, a trip to school in a police car, OSU vs. Michigan tickets and a long list of other valuables.
The auction evening will feature a fish and chips dinner, silent and live auctions, and many fun events, including a reverse raffle and punch board games. All proceeds benefit ICS in order to provide a quality education.
