Dr. John “Crash” Davenport formed the Island Song Trio after meeting two very talented musicians, and they’ve become a very popular trio in the area, and featured on Friday, July 21 at 6 p.m. on The District Stage on Madison Street in downtown Port Clinton.
Timothy Barrett is a retired Westlake elementary school principal. For many years ago he was a cellist for the Akron symphony. Barrett sings, plays bass, lead guitar and cello.
Bart Kozar has been a Cleveland musician for many years. He plays drums, lead guitar, bass, keyboards and mandolin. He was the former Cleveland musical liaison to Neil Young during Make-A-Wish charitable events.
Davenport is a retired Air Force Lt. Col. and decorated Command Pilot. He also owns HALO, a concert venue and recording studio in Sandusky.
