James Hensley is a talented musician hailing from right here in Port Clinton, and he will be featured on the Main Street Entertainment District Stage on Friday, June 2 at 6 p.m. as the lead performer this year in the RiverfrontLive! schedule. Hensley began his local career almost three decades ago playing with The Munch Band from Oak Harbor before venturing to Bowling Green in 1997 and forming the beloved college rock band Crazy Eddie.

Hensley came back to Port Clinton in 2003 and in 2006 he got the Crazy Eddie guys back together and formed local favorite The jUnK!, a band which still plays around the area. Hensley also plays with JK RAZZ, and you can find him playing solo here and there throughout the summer.

The very busy and quite versatile Hensley, who has an outstanding local following, also fills in on bass and guitar for other local favorites such as Corduroy Road and BarCode.

Hensley is no stranger to The District Stage and the many other local venues around town. He has enjoyed the explosion of the music scene around Ottawa County, and beyond.
