James P. Adams, 86, of Marblehead, passed away Friday, May 22, at Fireland Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. He was born Feb. 18, 1934 in Marblehead, the son of Stephen Vincent and Mary (Stayancho) Adams. He married Margaret (Ludrowsky) in 1955 and she preceded him in death in 1995. He married Marcia (Cadwallader) in 2002. He was a Tool & Die Maker for Ford Motor Company, Sandusky for 36 years retiring in 1995. He was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, where he was a longtime usher and a member of the Cemetery Committee. He was a past Marblehead Councilman, past board member of Vacationland Federal Credit Union, Sandusky, a member of U.A.W. and Timer at Danbury Track Meets for over 30 years.
Surviving are his wife Marcia Adams; daughters: Pamela Ramsey of Bowling Green, Mary Lou (James) Rinaldo of Marblehead; sons: Daniel (Susan) Adams of Marblehead, Stephen (Annik) Adams of Marblehead; step-daughter: Jill Binford of Maui, HI; step-son: Dave Binford of Cincinnati; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Margaret; son: Philip Adams; daughter: Debra Eichelberger; brother Vincent Adams and sister Janet Skipka.
Public visitation with social distancing was held Tuesday, May 26, from 2:00 – 8:00 pm and Wednesday, May 27, from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead. Private family Funeral Mass will be conducted Thursday, May 28, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, followed by interment in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
