Jelly Roll, HARDY to headline Bash on Bay

The Bash on the Bay two-day music festival, held annually at the Put-in-Bay Airport, has announced that country rock and rap star Jelly Roll will be the headliner for the 2024 opener on Wednesday, Aug. 21, followed by artist-songwriter HARDY on Thursday, Aug. 22.

Jelly Roll had multiple awards in 2023, including the Country Music Awards New Artist of the Year, with his debut country album, “Whitsitt Chapel,” the biggest country album debut in Billboard Consumption Chart history. Popular Jelly Roll hits include, “Dead Man Walking,” “Son of a Sinner,” and his current hit, “Save Me,” a duet with Lainey Wilson.

HARDY was the most nominated artist at this year’s Country Music Awards, with three wins: Artist-Songwriter of the Year, Visual Media of the Year and Music Event of the Year for his duet “Wait in the Truck” with Lainey Wilson. Other HARDY hit singles include “Rednecker,” “Give Heaven Some Hell,” and “Truck Bed.”
