The Jet Express cruises into Put-in-Bay Harbor heading to its downtown dock just a short distance from the Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial.
The Jet Express high-speed passenger ferry to Put-in-Bay, Kelleys Island and Cedar Point will begin running for the season on Friday, May 5, and its new ticketing system will make island travel more convenient this summer.
“We have adopted our new FareHarbor ticketing system for the 2023 season that allows passengers to book tickets, excursions, season passes and day passes completely online,” said Marketing Coordinator Chase Eagleson. “Our ferry ticket is now digital, sent right to your email address upon purchase.
“There will be no lines, wait or worries. Our staff will be on the dock to help passengers with the change. That includes Sandusky route tickets and passes online.”
The Jet Express hit the water in 1988 when several ambitious Puit-in-Bay business owners developed the high-speed Jet Express 1. The ferry line now includes four of the catamaran ferry vessels that can seat up to 250 passengers.
For the daily schedule, amenities and more information visit jet-express.com or visit its Facebook page. This year the ferry is offering Day Passes for those who enjoy the ride, the tours of the Lake Erie Islands and the Jet Express allowing an unlimited amount of trips for an entire day to accommodate island hoppers.
