John Kozlok, 72, of Port Clinton, passed away May 14 at his residence. He was born Dec. 28, 1946 in Port Clinton, the son of Andrew and Margaret Irene (Truex) Kozlok. John graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1965. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from the Port Clinton Post Office where he worked as a clerk at the counter.
John was an avid gardener and an animal/pet lover, including volunteering at the humane society and fostering animals. He loved music and movies of all kinds. He was a Friend of Lakeview Cemetery, assisting in clean up and beautification of the cemetery along with placing of plaques. He was an avid art collector.
Surviving are his children: Sean (Jill) Kozlok of Port Clinton, Kristy (Andy) Greener of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Ayden Kozlok, Brynn Kozlok, Keegan Hunsinger; brother: Teddy (Tanya) Kozlok and former wife and friend Dianne (Funk) Kozlok. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Jimmy Kozlok, grandson: Mason Andrew Kozlok, nephews: Jonathan A. Kozlok and Scott W. Kozlok.
Private graveside services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at later date.
