Joyful Connections won’t let the COVID-19 virus stop the agency from keeping local families and children connected, said director Shanna Strouse and Program Manager Tami Matthews.
Even during difficult times, the Joyful Connections staff is working hard monitoring remote video visits and preparing to re-open for in-person visits at a later date.
In order to open safely, they are asking for donations of “things” to help keep families, children, and staff safe. These items include:
- masks (cotton and surgical)
- Lysol wipes and spray
- hand sanitizer
- bandannas
- hair ties, bleach
- clean spray bottles
- totes for toy and game storage
- paper towels
- tissues
Strouse and Matthews will be available to meet you curbside at Joyful Connections (with mask and gloves and remaining socially distanced) to gratefully receive your donations. We will also have a tote outside our main door to accept drop-offs.
If you cannot find items and would like to donate monetarily, Joyful Connections also accepts cash, check, and credit card. Call 419- 704-6366.
